Oils and Vinegars

Olive Oils

Extra Virgin Strong Blend Olive Oil (first cold pressing)
For this oil we have blended a very strong Frontoio oil with a little bit of Mission oil to round it off to a good balanced, medium strong oil, that will enhance any salad.

Extra Virgin House Blend Olive Oil - milder (first cold pressing)
A milder oil containing less of the stronger cultivars and more Mission Olives to make it a milder tasting oil that is good for marinades, cooking purposes and as salad dressings.

Vinegars

Balsamic Vinegar
We have not yet come across a locally made balsamic vinegar that is as good as the ones from Modena in Italy and therefore we import this 6 star well balanced vinegar for our own use and for selling.

Oil Free Raspberry Dressing (sweet)
Fresh raspberries steeped on naturally fermented grape vinegar and sweetened with cane sugar.

Oil Free Lavender Dressing (sweet)
Fresh and aromatic lavender flowers from our herb garden is steeped on naturally fermented grape vinegar and sweetened with cane sugar.

Oil Free Bulgarian Rose Petal Dressing (sweet)
Imported dried unique Bulgarian roses are used with naturally fermented grape vinegar and sweetened with cane sugar.

For these homemade dressings we use naturally fermented grape vinegar for steeping the fresh flowers or berries in and leave for a few weeks to extract all the flavours. We add sugar to enhance the floral and berry notes to make these very exiting salad dressings, that is worth a try. Accompanied by a good extra virgin olive oil, these vinegars can change a very ordinary salad into something very interesting.
